About the Project

Hello! I'm Tesorex, the solo developer behind ESO Buildeditor.

This application was born out of a passion for The Elder Scrolls Online and a desire for a fast, responsive, and fully offline theorycrafting tool.

The app is currently in active Beta. This means I am constantly adding new features, updating set data, and fixing bugs. Your feedback is crucial for making this the best tool for the community.

Is this application free?

Yes, absolutely. The tool is being developed as a passion project for the ESO community.

Can I get banned for using this?

No. ESO Buildeditor is a standalone, offline Windows application. It does not interact with the game client, read memory, or automate gameplay in any way. It is 100% safe.

How do I update the app?

The application includes an auto-updater. When you launch the app, it will check the server for new features or updated skill data and download them automatically.

What if the app crashes or fails to launch after an update?

Go to the application's installation folder and run repair.exe. As a last resort, uninstall the application entirely, download the latest version from this website, and reinstall it.

Does the application require an internet connection?

An internet connection is only needed to check for and download updates. All core theorycrafting features work 100% offline.

How often are updates released, and will the app continue to improve?

Updates are released quite frequently! Since I am a solo developer, there might occasionally be slight delays, but the functionality is actively expanding and bugs are continuously squashed.

In the future, I plan to evolve this tool from a simple build editor into a comprehensive personal assistant for ESO, packed with conveniently organized information.
